Tengen Toppa Enki Durga

Tengen Toppa Enki Durga is the Tengen Toppa Gunmen fielded by Viral, taking shape during the last stand against the Granzeboma in the second film, The Lights in the Sky are Stars. It derives its look from Enki, Viral's original Gunmen, appearing as a mostly white humanoid figure. Distinctive features set it apart: fourteen arms, a face bearing four eyes set into its chest, and a jagged golden crest atop its helmet. It ranks as the second Tengen Toppa Gunmen to appear after the Granzeboma tears down the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Its main weapon is the Tengen Toppa Enki Swords, a galaxy-sized rendition of Viral's trademark blades, and it can also summon multiple galaxy-scale pistols, which it draws in the thick of its swordfight with the Granzeboma and later fires alongside the rest of the team. That Viral can form this Gunmen at all reflects that he now carries Spiral Power, evidenced by the green flame bursting out of the machine as that power leaks free. The Durga in its name nods to a ten-armed Hindu goddess, though this Gunmen outdoes its namesake in limb count.

Viral commands Tengen Toppa Enki Durga. It stops the Granzeboma from finishing off Nia Teppelin's Tengen Toppa Solvernia, snaring the enemy's drills with twelve of its hands while the final pair swing swords to shatter them. It then trades blows with the Granzeboma using eleven swords and a club, and when its blades break, it boots one shard into the Anti-Spiral homeworld between the Granzeboma's horns. After clearing space for Yoko Littner's Tengen Toppa Yoko W Tank, Viral's machine joins the team's concentrated fire, and once Lordgenome's sacrifice supercharges the Tengen Toppa Lagann, it unites with the other Gunmen to form Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
