Hilary Haag

Hilary Haag is an American voice actress known for a run of lead performances in English dubbed anime, with a naturally youthful vocal quality that often lands her younger female characters. She lent her voice to Gurren Lagann's English dub as part of a career built largely around lead roles.

Haag has played Teletha Testarossa across the Full Metal Panic franchise, Rosette Christopher in Chrono Crusade, Rebecca Miyamoto in Pani Poni Dash, and Katyusha in Girls und Panzer. She also voiced Seth Nightroad in Trinity Blood and Nene Romanova in the Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 continuation.

Haag took on a voice role in the English language adaptation of Gurren Lagann, adding the mecha series to a resume built largely around lead anime dub work. Her casting came during a stretch when she was already established as a go to performer for youthful female leads.

Haag has worked in anime dubbing since 1996, building a career now stretching nearly three decades. Her naturally youthful speaking voice has shaped much of that career, earning her repeated casting as younger female characters.
