Taiko Uchiha

A sword rides at the small of his back, and a blue forehead protector sits above his features. His black hair is drawn into a ponytail behind his head, and he dresses in the Military Police uniform: a black shirt stamped with the force's crest, black shorts over a shuriken holster and bandages on the right leg, black gloves, and dark blue sandals.

Taiko holds that coming down hard on wrongdoers, and on ordinary townsfolk too, snuffs out future crime before it starts, which he uses to excuse his cruelty toward thieves and helpless civilians alike. He finds Fugaku Uchiha's leadership far too lenient and instead idolizes the severe approach of his lieutenant, Sasuke. That devotion to the Uchiha runs deep enough that he defies the Hokage's commands and even menaces the Hokage's wife, insisting all of it serves his clan.

His standing in the force marks him as at least a capable shinobi, and turning a blade on Kushina hints at training in swordsmanship. Under Sasuke's direction, Taiko and his fellow officers imposed a harsh order on Konoha, and he relished the dread he stirred in its people. His rough attempt to seize an elderly woman was cut off by Naruto Uzumaki, the Hokage's son, and when he saw his lieutenant unsettled by his old friend's new power, he asked Sasuke how to proceed, only to be told to act on his own judgment. Convinced that releasing Naruto had cost the police their authority, the officers forced their way into the Hokage's residence to settle matters, a botched move Fugaku branded idiotic, though Taiko maintained he had done it for the clan before being taken into custody. Later, with Konoha sealed away by Nagato, he and the rest of the force were assigned to protect the civilians.
