History
At the Academy entrance ceremony, JJ was left astonished when Boruto Uzumaki roared in late by slamming a train into the Hokage Monument. His teacher Shino later sent the class to job-shadow ordinary workplaces for a taste of civilian life. Once the Nue affair had blown over, Iruka Umino staged a capture-the-flag exercise with the students split into trios, and JJ squared off against Iwabee before bowing out of the match. He traveled with his classmates to Kirigakure on a field trip guided by Kagura Karatachi, and when the chance came to sit the Genin Exams he declined to become a shinobi. He was later among the onlookers watching Boruto spar with the Seventh Hokage at the Training Hall.
