Kazami

A tall, slicked-back pompadour tops Kazami's head, framed by heavy black brows and a pair of small, dark eyes. His outfit evokes a yakuza member and layers metal pauldrons across the shoulders, while a Kusagakure forehead protector marks his village. At his side he hauls a banner mounted on a staff.

Loyalty defines Kazami. He is quick to shield his teammates, nearly brawling with the Konoha genin the instant Burami tumbled after Neji deflected his sweat away from their meal. His resolve to finish a mission never wavers, and he champions teamwork at every turn. That devotion tips into comedy at times, since he will wave his banner to root for an ally in the middle of a technique or a fight.

Kazami enters the Chunin Exams that Konoha and Suna host together, drawing room 3 for the written stage that Shikamaru Nara oversees on-screen. His team clears it by posting a combined hundred and leaving the bonus question blank, then lands inside the first thirty squads during a dash toward Sunagakure. A dinner scuffle flares when a teammate is hurt and Kazami leaps to his defense, though Fu's sunny mood soon drains everyone's will to fight. Temari then opens the second round inside the Demon Desert, where his group gathers several Heaven scrolls and collides with Team Kurenai, Kazami squaring off against Hinata Hyuga. In battle he handles his flag-tipped staff with real skill, driving Wind Release through it to slice foes or fling them skyward, and he even borrows outside arts such as the Hyuga Gentle Fist. After the squads trade ambushes and a scent-masking ruse, his team is finally worn down: Kiba unleashes his Three-Headed Wolf, which crushes the trio and leaves Team Kurenai to carry off a Heaven scroll and an Earth scroll alike.
