Robot's Pilgrimage

Robot's Pilgrimage, also logged under names such as the Blissful Millennium and the Advent of the Savior, marks a decisive fork in Earth's timeline. During the Thragg Era, around 2024 to 2025 by Earth reckoning, the hero Robot, known personally as Rex, and Monster Girl, whose real name is Amanda, find themselves cut off inside the hostile Flaxan Dimension.

The pair's confinement stretches across a full millennium of Flaxan time, an ordeal understood as a formative passage in which both of them mature in mind, spirit, and body. Set against the earlier fighting with the Flaxans and events tied to the Reign of Titan, their disappearance leaves those on Earth uncertain of their fate. Even so, Atom Eve holds out hope, assuring Mark that the two will eventually discover a route back to their own world.

Their eventual escape from the dimension counts as one of two catalysts that give rise to the Robot Era, celebrated as a high point of human achievement. The saga leads onward into later chapters, including renewed Flaxan incursions in London and a long-awaited homecoming for the stranded heroes.
