The Savage Savior

The Savage Savior gathers a series of destructive incidents set in motion by Dinosaurus, a scientist whose warped utilitarian logic drives him toward extremism. Operating across Earth, he treats catastrophic loss of life as an acceptable price for what he considers planetary salvation.

Beginning in spring 2024, Dinosaurus launches wave after wave of eco-terrorism aimed at forcing sweeping global change and staving off climate collapse. He is fully convinced that only drastic, violent measures can spare the world, no matter how many die in the ruin he creates. His campaign puts Mark in an impossible position, pitting the hero's refusal to accept collateral death against an enemy who frames such death as a mercy. Dinosaurus even thanks Invincible for the toll of an earlier war, arguing that fewer people means a healthier planet, before concluding that Mark's insistence on repairing the damage makes him a threat who must be removed.

The arc runs parallel to other developments such as the Fall of Omnipotus and eventually feeds into the larger catastrophe known as the Death of Everyone. Above all, it crystallizes the ideological gulf between Dinosaurus and Invincible, framing a clash less about brute strength than about the worth of a single life set against the fate of the whole.
