Nuolzot

Nuolzot is a humanoid alien with an unmistakably insect-like cast. Bright blue skin covers him, and his large round eyes glow magenta with stylized black markings that call to mind a praying mantis. A pair of long, curved antennae sweep back from his head, and his mouth sits as a plain lipless line. His limbs are lean and many-jointed, and small segmented bumps like tiny bristles run along his forearms.

He is a shrewd, level-headed emissary dispatched by Nolan with one aim: to collect Mark Grayson and deliver him to Thraxa. The errand is not about fending off some vague menace but part of Nolan's wider scheme to ready everyone for the Viltrumite danger ahead. He opens with deception, masquerading as Mark's beloved comic character to win him over, but drops the ruse fast and reveals a dry, no-nonsense streak underneath. The long haul to Earth has aged him, yet never dulled his resolve. His near-reverent respect for Nolan anchors an unwavering trust in the man's plans, which fuels his patience with a doubtful, reluctant Mark. More than a courier, he balances diplomacy with firmness while adapting to human quirks.

He first surfaces wearing the guise of Seance Dog, ringing the bell at Mark Grayson's dorm and claiming to be a spellcasting canine from a reality where dogs are wizards, all to earn the young hero's confidence. When Mark hurls him to the ground during a scuffle in the woods, he drops the disguise and reveals his true shape, then enlists Mark to save the Thraxan people from an asteroid poised to annihilate them. The two travel six days across space, but the planet turns up intact, and a suspicious Mark is brought before its ruler, who proves to be his own father.

When the Viltrumites assaulted Thraxa, Nuolzot lived through the attack by sheltering in a safe hideaway. After the battle Nolan was seized and carried off, leaving Mark stranded, and over two months of helping rebuild the shattered city Nuolzot visibly aged. He eventually told Mark that a ship stood ready to carry him home, but Mark chose to stay, brushing it off with the remark that Earth had plenty of heroes to cover for him. Nuolzot's flat reply, that humans are very confusing, summed up the gap between them. It is assumed that once Mark finally left, Nuolzot died of old age.

His talents were modest but useful. He could shift into the Seance Dog form, endured being slammed to the ground by Invincible, conjured small green flashes of light while disguised, and could levitate.
