Development

Skybound Games forms studio Quarter Up, staffed by developers who worked on the 2013 Killer Instinct, to build Invincible VS in Unreal Engine 5. The Glitch Mob scores the soundtrack, and cast members from the animated series, including J.K. Simmons and Gillian Jacobs, reprise their roles for voice work. The game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows on April 30, 2026, priced at 49.99 dollars.

Gameplay

Matches pit teams of three fighters against each other, with players tagging characters in and out mid combo through active tags and defensive counter tags. The base game ships with an eighteen character roster covering Invincible, Omni-Man, Atom Eve, Battle Beast, Conquest and other franchise faces, alongside story, arcade, training and both local and online multiplayer built on rollback netcode. Universa and The Immortal follow as the first paid DLC fighters in summer 2026, with further additions planned for the game's first year.
