Dornians

Hailing from the world of Dornin, the Dornians are a warlike race of feline aliens. They tend toward pale fur, heavy muscle, and braided ponytails, and their society appears forged by conflict and disorder, judging from the conduct of Battle Beast.

Like Earth's lions, the Dornians seem to carry marked differences between the sexes. Males grow full manes while a female seen in the fourth season has none, and the males can also sprout thick beards, as Mokk does. Their warrior culture pushed at least one of them to roam the stars in search of a fight worthy of him.

Thokk, better known as Battle Beast, wearied of the endless battles on Dornin and exiled himself to find an opponent equal to his power, drifting the galaxy, testing Earth's fighters, and eventually ending up trapped on an asteroid. His absence left Dornin exposed to outside threats such as the Viltrumites. Mokk instead sided with the Coalition of Planets and aided its war effort, meeting Invincible with wariness and remarking that the hybrid had not yet betrayed humanity. When Nolan and Allen came to Dornin hunting Battle Beast, the Dornians met them with hostility before hinting he might be found wherever blood and fire ran.

The two best-known Dornians are Thokk, the roaming warrior called Battle Beast, and Mokk, who serves the Coalition of Planets. The species allies with the Coalition, Invincible, and Omni-Man, and counts the Viltrum Empire among its foes.
