Flaxan

The Flaxans come from a separate dimension and share one aim: to seize Earth and slaughter humanity. They have launched several invasions, and every time superheroes have driven them back. Their homeworld runs on a far quicker clock, so a short stretch on Earth equals ages for them, giving the race repeated chances to rebuild and try again.

The first incursion saw Flaxans pour into the downtown streets, cutting down civilians until the Teen Team intervened, with Atom Eve deflecting a tank blast aimed at Invincible. That assault collapsed on its own as the invaders aged and died from Earth's differing time flow, and the survivors fled through their portal. The second wave returned better armed and studied, fitted with wristbands that blocked the aging effect, until Robot pinpointed the bands' frequency and destroyed them, aging the attackers away once more.

The third attempt brought technology even Invincible could not match, along with a leader housed in a hulking mechanical body, until Omni-Man arrived, routed them, and chased them through the portal. In their own dimension he leveled their civilization, killed the leader, and forced the remnant to send him home before crushing them, then lied that he had merely talked them into leaving. Years later, recovered and vengeful, the Flaxans struck Chicago a fourth time with troop carriers, control collars, mech suits, and a hidden temporal emitter. Robot and Monster Girl slipped into the Flaxan Dimension to wreck the emitter and free the captives, but a Flaxan soldier destroyed the gateway, stranding the pair among an enormous enemy army.

The Flaxans hold no innate powers of their own, relying instead on a deep well of technology and weaponry sharpened over their long private years. Their society revolves wholly around war and conquest, ruthless and xenophobic yet loyal to its own, and they speak a language all their own that only Robot has managed to decode. Named figures include the original Flaxan Leader, the Flaxan scientists, and a second Flaxan Leader, with the twisted Flaxancible standing among their allies.
