Teen Team

Teen Team is a group of adolescent crime-fighters organized under Robot's leadership. At its start the roster held four young heroes: Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate, and Robot himself. Mark Grayson first crosses paths with them through Atom Eve, a classmate at his high school. The team would later break apart so its members could try out for a reformed Guardians of the Globe, only to reassemble after a falling-out with Cecil Stedman and the Global Defense Agency, this time drawing in both familiar faces and newcomers.

With the Guardians of the Globe gone, the young team steps up to blunt the Flaxan invasions. Outgunned and outnumbered in the first assault, they struggle until the aliens begin aging rapidly, a quirk of the time difference between the two worlds that forces a retreat. Robot studies the enemy afterward and rigs a detector for any return. During the second wave, he pinpoints the invaders' wristbands as their weakness and broadcasts a frequency that shatters the devices, undoing them again. A third and final push nearly overwhelms the group before a fully recovered Omni-Man drives the Flaxans off and lays waste to their homeworld.

Once the new Guardians form, Teen Team disbands, with Robot, Dupli-Kate, and Rex passing the tryouts while Atom Eve goes solo as an independent do-gooder. After the rift between Invincible and Cecil sours several Guardians on the director, Rex pushes to revive the old squad and a handful walk away to rebuild it under a name yet to be chosen. During the Invincible War, the variant Gogglesvincible storms their base and badly wounds Rex, Monster Girl, and Bulletproof. Rex buys his teammates their escape by detonating his own skeleton, sacrificing himself to destroy the attacker.

Robot founds and commands the team. Its ranks over time include Monster Girl, Bulletproof, Dupli-Kate, who eventually retires, Atom Eve, Shrinking Rae, and Rex Splode, who dies during the Invincible War. The Global Defense Agency and Invincible Inc. stand as situational allies, while the Flaxans and Team Evil Invincible number among their foes. The concept blends teenage hero teams from Marvel and DC such as the Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, Legion of Super-Heroes, and the X-Men.
