Summary

With three hours left before the orbital cannon finishes charging, Nagisa and the rest slip into the mountain. Knowing the terrain far better than the intruders do, the students disable every trooper posted along the way and break through to Korosensei, who commends them for reaching him against such odds. He speaks calmly, offering the kind of parting wisdom meant to steady them for whatever lies beyond graduation.

Key Events

The mood lifts when Nakamura produces a cake and the class gathers to celebrate, marking not only a birthday but also the anniversary of the day Korosensei and Ms. Yukimura first met. The joy is short-lived. Yanagisawa appears alongside the Reaper, who has been reinforced with tentacles of his own. Korosensei remembers this figure as a former pupil he never granted the recognition of a true assassin. As the Reaper closes in for combat, Yanagisawa injects himself with the tentacle serum and joins the assault, leaving the two of them to press their attack while the students can only watch, unable to intervene.

For the broadcast, the manga's Craig Houjou and his Wolfpack were swapped out for an elite Self-Defense Force commander leading a battalion of soldiers.
