Summary

The episode opens by echoing a scene from the main series, with Karasuma drilling Class E, though here the focus is swordplay and he shows off intricate, powerful techniques. Worried about being upstaged, Koro-sensei tries to flaunt his own moves, only for the students to wave them off as gaudy and unbelievable. When the group heads into a nearby town, they find its people brainwashed and are charged with lifting the curse cast by the witch Irina, who controls them. The class sets off to track down her hideout.

Inside a cave, they encounter an 'old woman' begging for water, an obvious plant. Hiroto and Taiga hand over their supply anyway and fall into the witch's trap, ending up brainwashed themselves. Irina then captures the girls, cages them, and flees upstairs, brainwashing Koro-sensei along the way as Karasuma battles him. The boys press on to the top floor, where the witch enthralls all of them save Karma and Nagisa. Once Karma spots the origin of her power, she commands the controlled boys to hurl the pair out a window.

At that moment Koro-sensei swoops in at full speed to save them. When Irina demands to know why her spell never worked on him, he explains that as the Demon King he cannot be seduced, a suspicion Karma and Nagisa had already held. He adds that his brainwashed act was a ruse to keep her distracted while Karasuma freed the captured girls. The teachers then hand the witch a harsh lesson, and she gives up, vowing to reform, while the students watch her with something closer to pity.
