Decker

Decker wears his hair blonde and travels the spacelanes aboard a hulking interstellar truck, its hull marked with a painted image of an Asian goddess. The tool he leans on most is a stock of explosive capsules he can hurl on a moment's notice.

He is a hardened runner who treats violence as an escape hatch, tossing bombs at pursuers without a second thought. That willingness to kill anyone chasing him, rather than give himself up, colors nearly every move he makes during his flight.

After getting his hands on high-grade explosives, Decker moves them around in his goddess-painted truck, a trade that earns him a twelve-million Woolong bounty. He stops to eat at Woody's without realizing that several bounty hunters have caught wind of his presence nearby. Faye Valentine stakes out the diner but grabs the wrong man, and when Decker overhears that he is in danger he slips away. Faye spots him and gives chase, only for Decker to lob a bomb behind him that cripples her ship, the Red Tail.

Fleeing into the asteroid belt, he clips Otto's vessel in passing and keeps going. Near the Linus Mine he catches sight of another trucker ship belonging to Victoria Terpsichore and realizes she is on his trail, so he steers toward the mine to lose her. He ejects one more explosive her way, which misses but sets off a chain reaction deep in the mine's systems. The resulting cave-in crushes his truck and leaves him dead in the vacuum of space.
