Illusory Phantom

Dark hair worn long frames Phantom's face, which carries three small triangular paint marks set just below the eyes. His outfit stays simple, a sleeveless black top paired with pale shorts.

Very little has been established about his inner character. He shares the loathing his fellow party members hold for Flashy Flash, who leveled their home, and that grudge signals a lingering loyalty to the village despite the brutal training it put him through. A sense of brotherhood binds him to the other village ninjas, and he readily fights at their side.

Phantom completed his training in the Ninja Village's twenty-second graduating class, titled Determination, and afterward enlisted with the Heavenly Ninja Party. During the Neo Heroes Saga, the party corners Speed-o'-Sound Sonic at his hideout to lay out its plan for world conquest and its orders from Empty Void, the man it calls That Man. When Sonic fails to lead Flashy Flash to the appointed spot, the group breaks up the pair's duel and turns on both fighters, branding Sonic a traitor. Blast then intervenes, scatters the party, and teleports everyone to the hideout, where Saitama has already downed the village leader. Phantom joins the assault on Saitama and is struck down along with the rest. Awed by that strength, the survivors try to take Saitama as their master, and after he refuses, Phantom follows the group in trailing him. As a trained graduate he counts as a capable ninja, drawing on enhanced strength and speed, a smoke-conjuring technique, and his guandao in combat. In the webcomic version, he dies with the rest of the party facing Flashy Flash and Sonic.
