Flashy Flash

Slim yet toned, Flash cuts an androgynous figure of ordinary height. His eyes are a piercing blue, and his ice-blonde hair grows long with a fringe combed over toward the right of his face. His combat gear consists of a deep blue bodysuit layered with metallic arm bracers and plating across the upper chest, all draped beneath a flowing white cape. Four-pointed stars flank his head and reappear across the cape, while a chain wraps his waist to keep his sheathed blade in place.

Composed and businesslike, Flash cuts straight to the point in meetings and steps in to break up squabbles among his peers, as he did between Tatsumaki and Metal Bat. That calm masks heavy arrogance: he waves off weaker heroes, orders them aside so he can handle threats himself, and scolds them over potential collateral damage. He counts among the rare few who refuse to cower before Tatsumaki, even snapping back at her. His guiding belief holds that relentless training, and nothing else, produces true strength, a conviction that echoes Saitama's own outlook. He told the dying Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame their sole shortcoming was insufficient practice.

For all his poise, he can be rash and careless, whether wrecking more of a city with a hasty strike or misplacing his communicator during a raid. Speed is his deepest source of pride, and he loses his cool whenever someone outpaces him, growing furious after four separate opponents surpassed him in a single day. Even so, he gives credit where it is due, praising Saitama's raw quickness and vowing to take him on as a pupil. Beneath the harsh surface lies a survivor of the Ninja Village's cruel conditioning, where every emotion had to be buried. Like Sonic, he ached for freedom, and at sixteen he chose to slaughter everyone at the village to stamp out its corruption.

As an S-Class hero, Flash ranks among the association's deadliest, celebrated for velocity that ends most fights before an opponent can even flinch. Once the finest graduate of the 44th class from the same village as Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, he can single-handedly bring down Dragon-level monsters, felling both Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind once they assumed monster form, using only his ultimate techniques and suffering no lasting damage. His approach is coldly analytical; he timed his strike to drop the two ninja at once so neither could flee, and he could gauge Saitama's roughly seventy-kilogram weight just from the rhythm of his footsteps.

His body matches his reputation. He moves fast enough to leave shockwaves in his wake and blitz a Demon-level foe before it can even blink, and he shrugged off repeated blows from a pair of Dragon-level ninja while coughing up only traces of blood. In the ominous future timeline he outlasted most heroes against Garou's radiation. His signature ninjutsu, dubbed the Ultimate Techniques, includes Flash Slash, which closes distance and cleaves enemies before they react, along with Flash Kicks, Flash Fist, and later scroll-taught arts such as Sky Ripping Scattered Flash Slash. He long wielded a round-guarded katana named Instakill, backed by a kunai and a waterproof cape, until the sword shattered and had to be replaced.
