Personality

Set beside Mars Leo, Kokou comes across as the calmer of the pair, laying out his case for leadership in measured words rather than shouting everyone down. That composure has its limits, though. His temper flares when Suiryu tries to brush him off, and he lunges at the martial artist without much hesitation.

History

Before joining the heroes, Kokou competed in Cyborg Fight, an underground circuit for modified humans. His run there ended in an unusual disqualification, since he won so reliably that spectators stopped placing bets on his matches and the organizers cut him from the roster.

He resurfaces alongside Mars Leo, storming a meeting of Neo Heroes leadership to protest being passed over for command. Kokou insists he will never answer to anyone weaker than himself, yet his bravado wavers once his eye implant reads Wavygyaza and reports that 71 percent of her frame is machine, well past the 60 percent mark where such modification turns dangerous. When Suiryu moves to remove the pair, both attack, only for the martial artist to swat aside their strikes and boot Kokou across the room, where 'A' catches him.

Elimin and Destro then arrive to escort the intruders out, and Kokou's scan pegs them at 95 and 94 percent conversion, figures that convince him to leave both of them well alone. His implant doubles as a sensor for gauging other cyborgs, and he can loose a rapid flurry of blows, though Suiryu blocked every one. He is later seen in a Neo Heroes battle suit that sharply raises his physical output.
