Brave Giant

Among all the gadgets in Child Emperor's arsenal, the Brave Giant towers above the rest as his ultimate weapon and the ace he saves for the direst moments. The young S-Class hero considers it an unfinished prototype, yet it still outclasses every other machine he has ever fielded. Rather than acting on its own, the mech is steered from a cockpit by a human driver, and Child Emperor swaps into a baseball cap and a badge-bearing shirt whenever he climbs inside.

Its greatest weakness is time. The energy core stays controllable for only two minutes and thirty-eight seconds before it threatens to run wild and self-destruct, forcing its pilot to win fast or not at all.

The Brave Giant is a humanoid war machine standing several times the height of a grown man. Two pairs of eyes sit beneath four fins that sweep backward from its head, and bladed edges jut from its shoulders like stubby wings, with more at the knees, ankles, and waist. A bulky pack rides on its back, echoing Child Emperor's own satchel, and inside sit the jets, wings, and rockets that let the giant streak through the air at blistering speed.

Its raw power matches its size. The mech can shatter stone pillars, cave in an entire floor of the Monster Association's base, and when it releases its output limiters it briefly overwhelms a Dragon-level foe. Despite its bulk it moves with startling quickness, and its armored shell shrugs off searing attacks.

Child Emperor fights with a rotating set of built-in weapons to close out battles before the timer runs down. A Divider Shield projects an invisible electromagnetic barrier from its arm, while a Delta Scale Saber forms an electromagnetic blade. The 20000 Fold Rope Skip Grinder whirls a powered jump rope tens of thousands of times to grind through walls, and the Giant Fist Strike lands an electrified punch strong enough to corner a dragon-tier monster. For finishing power it can vent a Gigavolt Smash that discharges electricity across everything nearby, and its palms and head house energy cannons that trade blasts with powerful enemies.

Child Emperor is the sole operator of the Brave Giant, and he calls it into action during the raid on the Monster Association when the resurrected Phoenix Man proves too dangerous to handle by ordinary means. With a tap of his watch he assembles the machine's scattered parts, then trades furious blows with the reborn monster.

Recognizing the mech's short clock, Phoenix Man tries to stall, but Child Emperor pins him in an electromagnetic web and unloads full output, blasting the monster skyward. The strain spends the machine's time, and though Phoenix Man ultimately wrecks the Brave Giant, the delay buys Child Emperor the opening he needs to slip a Tickle-Tickle Bug into the monster's costume.
