The scheme collapses during the eventual face-off: Sailor V reaches for Crescent Beam only to find it dead, having neglected to recharge her compact under the moon. Phantom Ace arrives at that moment, shielding the heroine and wiping out Founde together with her copies using Delicious Four-Card Shot.
