Standing as the most powerful armament in Sailor Mars' arsenal, the Mars Arrow drives her Mars Flame Sniper attack throughout the manga and Crystal. She comes into possession of it as she transforms with the Mars Crystal, receiving it from her loyal companions Phobos and Deimos when the two rescue her during the Dream arc.
Function
The weapon takes the shape of an arrow whose fletching burns with fire. A glowing shaft carries a paper tag and an ornament, marks that identify it as more than a fiery projectile, tying it to Rei's heritage as a shrine priestess. No bow accompanies it, so Sailor Mars conjures one wholly from flame whenever she means to take aim at a foe.
