Key Events

Sasaki suffers a hallucination that mistakes a fellow investigator for Yamori. That night Eto delivers Kaneki's old mask along with a book she has signed, which draws Sasaki to the :re cafe, where Touka Kirishima serves him coffee. Once he leaves, Touka, Uta, Renji Yomo, and Nishiki Nishio speak about Kaneki among themselves. Sasaki starts digging into Kaneki's past and is gripped by a vision of Yoshimura and Anteiku. On that same night, Shuu Tsukiyama remains in agony despite having eaten many people.

Notes

The episode weaves together material from several Tokyo Ghoul:re chapters, including the sixteenth, thirty-first, and thirty-second, and its subtitle puns on the word remind. Kuroiwa, Itou, Juuzou, and Hanbee are absent from the Quinx celebration in the anime, and a handful of original scenes are added.
