In its base state it is a close-range humanoid with tall upright horns resembling rabbit ears, a masked jaw, and a pale surface crossed by a nearly continuous seam, styled after stitched leather like the cover of a baseball. A late clash with Gyro Zeppeli aged Valentine violently and stripped the Stand of an outer layer, horns included, a leaner look it kept even after he recovered. It shows up in baby blue and pink throughout its appearances.

Beyond above-average strength and speed, D4C carries a strange depth because it embodies Valentine's spirit spread across every dimension, threading through his many bodies and tying each of them back to the root world that holds the Saint's Corpse.

The Stand's central gift, Dimension Hop, lets neighboring worlds occupy the same place and moment while granting Valentine passage between them. He crosses by pinching an infinitesimal sliver of himself between two objects, using even liquids, dust, or steam, then reappears wherever he likes, such as bursting out of an enemy's back. He can haul others across too by trapping them between surfaces or shoving them into his chosen portal, but two copies of the same person or thing cannot share one world. Should such doubles draw near, both crumble into Menger-sponge fragments and are destroyed, sometimes with an explosive blast. If Valentine is wounded, he can leap to another world and pass the Stand to that world's version of himself, who then becomes the new root wielder while retaining the old one's memories; he can also summon countless alternate selves to swarm a foe, though only the root Valentine truly owns D4C.

Its evolved stage, Love Train, is a blessing from the Saint's Corpse and rules the very idea of misfortune. A wall of light drawn from Lucy's body follows Valentine and shunts every scrap of bad luck aimed at him far away, dumping it onto random people across the Earth as fatal accidents, so that only good fortune reaches him. Hidden inside this pocket of space he is essentially untouchable, able to hover, glide, or flatten himself, while nearby objects and even oceans drift toward Lucy in ways that favor him. Any harm he deals, however slight, races through the target's body until it reaches something vital, turning a nicked finger into a wound at the heart. His only exposure comes when he must briefly step out of the gap.

Funny Valentine is the wielder, a president devoted to gathering the Corpse Parts, and he handles the Stand with cunning even while still learning its limits. Lucy Steel becomes tied to Love Train through the wall of light that springs from her, meaning the ability can only function within a set distance of her. The single power known to pierce D4C -Love Train- is the Golden Spin.
