Doctor Wu

Doctor Wu is carried by Dr. Wu Tomoki in JoJolion and belongs to the Integrated class, meaning it surfaces only as an inborn power within its user and has no separate shape to point to. Its name was quietly foreshadowed at an Araki exhibition where early concept art already labeled Tomoki with it.

The gift makes Tomoki both slippery and dangerous, since the specks he becomes can float past a foe's guard and are awkward to hit. The same fractured state cuts the other way, though, limiting what he can do while dispersed and leaving him open to being trapped by objects around him.

The power breaks Tomoki's body down into a swarm of small stones, each steered on its own, which he can later gather back into human form. On their own the fragments do nothing beyond riding the breeze, drifting like the yellow dust that blows in on westerly winds. In this granular shape he can push into another person and seize control of their movements, and even bend their Stand to a degree, as when he forced Mitsuba's Awaking III Leaves to loose arrows at Yasuho. He can likewise merge with bones, ligaments, and tendons, though the power to parasitize someone appears anchored to one particular rock that acts as a homing beacon for the rest of the gravel while paralyzing the victim.

Inhaling his particles tends to trigger an allergic response, since to the body he registers as a foreign substance. He can also lace the dust with added agents, mixing in sleeping pills, for example, in his attempts to overpower Mitsuba Higashikata and Yasuho Hirose.

Wu Tomoki is the only wielder, a doctor who turns his crumbling, wind-borne form into a stealthy weapon against the Higashikata household. He counts as the third Stand in the series to nearly share its name with its user, following Foo Fighters and Weather Report.
