The World Over Heaven

The World Over Heaven keeps the shape and build of the original Stand but trades its palette for a gleaming angelic white set off by golden fittings. Its eyes invert into black sclera framing pale irises and dark pupils. The heart on its belt remains, yet its knees now bear a bold letter D in place of hearts, and a circle replaces the heart on its chin. Matching white circles marked with that same D sit on the backs of its hands. DIO regards this evolved variation as the ultimate form of his Stand.

The Stand's new signature power is the rewriting of reality. Through it DIO can alter nearly anything within time, an ability that seems boundless: he can reshape the existence of whatever he chooses, seize and enslave souls, heal his own wounds, raise the dead, and cancel almost any defense in the series, including feats that stop Tusk ACT4 and Gold Experience Requiem. One firm limit surfaces, however. The rewrite must be delivered through the Stand's fists, so it has to strike a target to overwrite it, a restriction that holds even after DIO absorbs the Saint's Corpse.

It retains the original talent for stopping time. Within the frozen interval DIO moves his body and any object he holds, striking helpless foes and repositioning at will, while force he applies lingers after time restarts, so hurled knives drift and then resume. With gravity absent during the pause he can also float freely through space. Whether the freeze has stretched from its former nine-second ceiling toward an unlimited span is hinted at but never confirmed.

Heaven Ascension DIO alone commands The World Over Heaven within Eyes of Heaven. Its name nods to the novel Over Heaven and likely fulfills DIO's diary ambition to reach Heaven by way of a Stand, perhaps produced through the same method Enrico Pucci would have used to reach Made in Heaven, making the two rough equivalents. Ranked among the game's mightiest Stands, it nonetheless keeps the same Stand type as Jotaro's Star Platinum.
