U-Boat

U-Boat, called Das Boot in fan translations, appears in the light novel JORGE JOESTAR. It manifests as a group of submarines able to move freely through living things and to carry weapons. Should the fleet fuse together, the ships combine into a single life-sized submarine stretching over a hundred meters in length.

Through Surface Submersion the Stand travels within a body, coursing through muscle, bone, blood, and other fluids, and it can leap to a fresh host whenever blood or fluid reaches another person. It can even slip inside its own user to shield them from an attack, and it flies through the air as readily. Its Projectile Artillery arms it with missiles, torpedoes, and rockets that defy physics: where an ordinary rocket fired into space would burn away like a meteor, U-Boat's shots cross space with their speed unchanged.

Fleet Fusion lets the ships regroup and merge into one another to grow larger, and when the whole fleet joins, it forms a great submarine with its weaponry scaled up to match. The combined vessel carries periscope headsets and scuba gear echoing its original counterpart Aerosmith, along with a radio for communication and the means to track anyone aboard.

U-Boat passes among several hands in JORGE JOESTAR. Its main user is the Narancia Ghirga of the 37th universe, while Joji Joestar wields it temporarily by way of a DISC, and Kars carries the enhanced U-Boat Ultimate. The Stand's shared nature echoes Beyond, which was split among several users after its former holder died.
