Cameo

Cameo carries the frame of a physically fit grown man, his body toned from an active life. The crown of his head has gone bald, though thick strands still trail down along the back and remain long.

Cowardice defines Cameo, who takes pleasure in manipulating the emotions of those he preys upon. His signature con is to dress Judgement up as a spirit that grants wishes, then strike once the victim lowers their guard. To sell the deception, the Stand can mold extra figures out of clay, and he tends to shape them from people his mark once cared about. Because no wound to the Stand ever passes back to him, he prefers to stay concealed at a distance and let it carry out the killing on his behalf. After twisting a wish into cruelty he liked to bellow Hail 2U!, a phrase that later doubled as his fighting shout.

During Stardust Crusaders, Cameo is among the mercenaries DIO pays to wipe out Jotaro's group. He stakes out the island where Joseph has come to see Avdol's father, burying himself in a pit he dug and breathing through a straw while wearing swim goggles. Since damage to Judgement never reaches him, he stays underground and observes as the independent Stand does everything for him. Judgement convinces Polnareff that it is a genie and invites three wishes; Polnareff asks for Sherry Polnareff and Avdol to be brought back, so Cameo forms clay duplicates of them that turn on Polnareff instead. The genuine Avdol arrives, destroys the fakes, rescues his friend, and uncovers the hidden killer. In a far more relaxed mood than before his apparent death, Avdol proposes tormenting the man, briefly sealing the straw with a finger. Polnareff drops dirt, a spider, ants, and a burning match down the tube, yet Cameo holds on. The two then relieve themselves into his air pipe, which finally drives the panicked Stand user to surface and plead for mercy. Avdol declines and incinerates him with Magician's Red as the fourth and final wish.
