Despite their threatening size, Chibi and Buchi harass Iggy for no clear reason and later force their way toward DIO's mansion driven only by appetite. A streak of cowardice undercuts their aggression, and they bolt the moment Iggy signals he might fight back. However savage they seem, their owner is deeply fond of them.
History
Chibi and Buchi confront Iggy while he searches for DIO's residence, most likely because he has wandered into what they consider their turf. Rather than bother battling two ordinary dogs, Iggy simply frightens them off. Fleeing him, the pair discover the gate to DIO's mansion and try to slip inside to make a meal of Pet Shop, oblivious to the danger, since the shadow the creature cast beneath the gate looked like nothing more than a small, harmless bird. The gamble collapses when Pet Shop turns on them, beheading both dogs and dragging their remains under the gate. Their owner eventually finds the bodies being eaten and is himself rescued by Iggy before the bird can finish him, after which the boy returns the favor by tending Iggy's wounds.
