Growing up, Coni was a scrappy girl who traded blows with the neighborhood boys and never reported an injury, since her Stand mended her after every scuffle; the other kids dubbed her Coni the immortal. That changed the day she healed a friend's scraped knee in front of the whole class.

Frightened classmates spread the tale, and a new label stuck: Coni the witch. Losing her friends over it, she withdrew and grew steadily more shy and isolated.

Coniglio's Stand, The Cure, takes the shape of a small rabbit able to mend almost any wound or illness in an instant. The catch is that she neither grasps how it truly works nor commands it reliably, so its power tends to slip loose from her grip.

A bizarre chain of events carried Coni from Rome to Venice, where she took a hotel cleaning job once held by her grandmother, who had died in a car crash. There the Passione hitman Sogliola Lopez, ordered to wipe out Bucciarati's team, learned of her gift and schemed to turn The Cure against the group's traitors.

Using Pannacotta Fugo as his weapon, Sogliola murdered many, including Coni's friend Winona, which made the girl lose her grip on the Stand entirely. She collapses, then comes to inside St Mark's Basilica under Bucciarati's care, finally taming her power. When it is over, Giorno assures her the tragedy is not her fault; she leaves Italy for a small Illinois town, hoping to master her ability and turn it toward good.
