Edvard Noriega

Edvard is a blond man whose hair appears to be cut into an undercut with stripes shaved below it. He wears a T-shirt printed all over with the letter E, has thick black eyebrows, and keeps a pearl necklace tucked under his shirt.

Throughout his relationship with Penelope, Edvard mistreated her constantly and sold off her possessions. When her mother urged her to leave him, he warned that he would ruin her should she try to walk away.

Some time after the breakup, a very different Edvard reappears, pleading for help and insisting that a mysterious man with black wings has been stalking him.

As Penelope's ex-boyfriend, Edvard had abused her, sold her belongings, and threatened to wreck her life when her mother tried to split them up, leaving her deeply traumatized before he finally ended things. Later, while she is on her way to work with Jorge, the pair run into him. He begs for help, convinced he is about to die, and claims a winged man is trying to kill him. His pleas only infuriate Penelope, who snaps and tells him he deserves whatever is coming, then threatens to kill him if he does not leave.

The ground stirs and raises four walls around Edvard, and Jorge realizes Penelope has formed a locked room and is on the verge of strangling him with it. Jorge talks her into sparing Edvard, but her Wound prevents her from stopping the effect. He calls out for Edvard to run and starts digging beneath the grass to reach him, only to be strangled himself; he stabs a knife into his stomach to scrawl the word "MURDER" before blacking out and being released. Edvard, meanwhile, has already escaped and fled the scene.
