Gaucho

Gaucho is a man of moderate build with dark hair reaching his shoulders and a drooping horseshoe mustache. He dresses in a light shirt layered under a sleeveless overshirt, paired with jeans, plain gloves and boots, and a wide sombrero.

Little of Gaucho's character surfaces given his brief role, though he comes across as fiercely competitive and quick to lose his temper. He handles firearms well, steady enough to wound Ringo Roadagain with little recoil, but wields no Stand and shows no grasp of the Spin.

Gaucho rides in the Steel Ball Run as a competitor. Through the third leg he takes the long route around a lake toward the finish. During the fourth stage he becomes trapped in the orchard encircling Ringo Roadagain's cabin, alongside Johnny Joestar, Gyro Zeppeli, and Hot Pants. Each time he demands the way out, Ringo answers the same: the only escape is to kill him. Worn down by frustration, Gaucho challenges Ringo to a duel. His shot clips Ringo's shoulder, but Ringo's round strikes his chest, and a second shot finishes him off. Ringo is later seen burying him near the cabin. Never completing the fourth stage, Gaucho ends the race with seventeen points.
