Jonda Joestar

Jonda is presented as a youthful man whose thick brows and overall features closely recall Jonathan Joestar. His hair is combed into a style much like that of his adopted son Joji, marking the resemblance that runs through the Joestar line even across parallel worlds.

The novel sketches him mainly through his conduct as a guardian and husband rather than through detailed temperament. He is shown as a willing parent who accepts a boy left behind by others and brings him up as his own, and as a man who wins the lasting devotion of Penelope de la Rosa.

After Joji is surrendered to the authorities by his birth parents, Jonda takes the boy in and raises him with an English upbringing. This makes Jonda the adoptive father of a child who is otherwise tied to the wider Joestar bloodline.

Later, Penelope de la Rosa journeys alongside Joji back into his own universe. There she grows fond of Jonda and the two wed. Roughly a year afterward, the couple welcome a daughter, Joeko Joestar.
