Jotaro Kujo is the protagonist of Stardust Crusaders and a major presence across Parts 4 through 6, making him the third JoJo and the most recurring of them all. A stoic delinquent turned marine biologist, he wields the immensely powerful Star Platinum and first travels to Egypt to stop DIO and save his mother.
Jotaro is established as a tall figure at 195 centimeters, handsome and solidly built even as a teenager, with dark hair that blends into his hat, a firm jaw, heavy brows, and green eyes. He carries the star-shaped birthmark shared by the Joestar family, and bears a faint resemblance to Jonathan and to a young Joseph.
His trademarks are a peaked, ornamented cap that is torn at the back and merges with his hair, and a long coat with a standing collar hung with chains. The details shift with each part: a modified gakuran in Stardust Crusaders, a paler, mostly white look through Diamond is Unbreakable across three outfits, and a heavily detailed dark coat printed with repeating stars in Stone Ocean.
Introduced as a rough delinquent, Jotaro hides a gentle heart and unwavering loyalty beneath a cold surface. He is sharp, perceptive, and quick-witted, expressing himself in curt phrases and keeping an unbothered, almost disinterested air. His steadiest quality is composure under pressure, best shown when he bluffs the expert gambler D'Arby into folding while wagering the souls of everyone he loves.
For all his gruffness, he cares deeply for his companions, staying jailed early on to keep his Stand from harming anyone and forming true bonds with Kakyoin, Polnareff, Avdol, and Iggy. He grows more mellow and mature by Diamond is Unbreakable, mentoring Josuke and Koichi. In Stone Ocean he is a distant father to Jolyne, having stepped out of her life to protect her, yet he loves her enough to spend his last frozen seconds shielding her from harm.
Born in 1971, Jotaro drifted into delinquency by seventeen, around the time Star Platinum awakened. After badly injuring gang members, he turned himself in, sure that an evil spirit had seized him, and stayed locked up until Joseph and Avdol proved the entity was a Stand. With DIO revived and his mother Holy dying from an uncontrolled Stand, Jotaro sets out for Egypt alongside Joseph, Avdol, and the reformed Kakyoin.
The journey pits him against a parade of DIO's assassins, from Gray Fly and the false Captain Tennille to Rubber Soul, Steely Dan, and both D'Arby brothers, whom he beats through nerve and cunning as much as force. In the climactic duel he learns that Star Platinum can also halt time, matching DIO's World long enough to shatter him and revive a drained Joseph through a transfusion.
In 1999 he travels to Morioh, meets Josuke, and helps hunt down the arrow and the killer Kira. He later sends Koichi to Italy over DIO's son Giorno. By Stone Ocean, a forty-year-old marine scientist, he rushes to a Florida prison to rescue Jolyne, only for Whitesnake to strip his Stand and memories into DISCs, leaving him comatose. He recovers and returns for the final battle, but Enrico Pucci exploits his love for Jolyne during a crucial time stop and kills him as Made in Heaven awakens.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Jotaro Kujo was killed by Enrico Pucci, who exploited Jotaro's love for his daughter Jolyne during a crucial time stop and struck him down as Pucci's Made in Heaven awakened.
Jotaro Kujo goes by his father Sadao Kujo's surname rather than Joestar, even though his mother Holy Kujo carries the Joestar bloodline as Joseph Joestar's daughter.
Jotaro Kujo was around forty years old, working as a marine biologist, when Enrico Pucci killed him during the climactic battle of Stone Ocean.
Jotaro Kujo's Stand is Star Platinum, an immensely powerful close-range Stand that later reveals the ability to stop time.
Jotaro Kujo traveled to Egypt alongside Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdol, and Noriaki Kakyoin to defeat the resurfaced vampire DIO and save his mother, Holy Kujo, who was dying from an uncontrolled Stand ability.
