Kei Nijimura is a supporting figure in JoJolion who works as the maid of the Higashikata household. Her surname is only a cover; she is secretly the daughter of Holy Joestar-Kira and the younger sister of Yoshikage Kira, and she commands the cold, self-guided Stand Born This Way.
Striking and dark-haired, Kei normally gathers her long locks into a bun, letting them hang loose only during her private confrontation with Josuke. Her maid's outfit joins a black blouse to a white apron, both fastened by a pair of pins shaped like lightning bolts and marked with the letters G and U, while a chin-strapped cap carries that same lettering.
Stars decorate her tights, and her shoes finish in a knotted bow. When she finally opens up to Josuke, a star-shaped birthmark is revealed resting near her left shoulder.
On duty, Kei carries out every task a maid would and reveals no feeling at all. That flatness turns out to be a shield. When Josuke asks whether she assaulted him on her employers' orders, she snaps, spitting contempt toward the family she serves and warning that she will kill him if he goes near Holy. Tears follow, and the composed front falls away to show something far more personal.
Once Josuke yields to her, she breaks down and admits that the two of them knew each other before, stunned that he has genuinely lost every memory of it. She even points out the seams where his split eyes and tongue were joined. Her devotion to her mother resurfaces later, when she steps away from the Higashikata home to nurse and clean up Holy at the university hospital.
Kei was born in 1989 as the second child of Holy Joestar-Kira and Yoshiteru Kira, making her Yoshikage Kira's little sister. Though she knew of her mother's Rock disease, she took no part in Yoshikage's scheme to steal and hold the Locacaca. Wary of the Higashikata, she instead slipped into their home under the false name Nijimura, posing as an unrelated servant so she could dig into their secret. After the earthquake of March 11, she learned that the soil beside the Wall Eyes could swap parts between two buried objects.
When Josuke begins probing her family tree, she reads him as a threat and looses her Stand, Born This Way, an automatic power that triggers the moment its target opens something and manifests as a humanoid rider on a motorcycle throwing off freezing winds. Josuke slips free and beats her, yet she stays hostile until he agrees to keep his distance from Holy, at which point she begins to trust him, notices that his eyes and tongue are a blend of two organs, and leads him to the Wall Eyes to reveal that he is a fusion of Yoshikage and Josefumi Kujo.
She later becomes the first person liquefied by Tamaki Damo's Vitamin C, and is knocked out along with the rest of the household by Poor Tom's Ozon Baby. During the clash with Wonder of U, Kei rushes from Holy's hospital room to aid Josuke and manages to wound the enemy Stand's head with Born This Way. That strike sets off Wonder of U's calamity ability, driving a fragment of its cane straight into her eye and brain and killing her on September 25, 2011.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
