Keicho Nijimura

Keicho stands at a middling to slightly tall height with a moderate frame, his gaze sharp beneath a permanently stern brow and his pale eyes ringed by a distinctive rippled pattern. His fair hair falls long, curling at the front while trailing into a ponytail behind and molded up top into a flat crown. Downward-pointing earrings shaped like arrows hang from his ears.

He dresses in a double-breasted school jacket whose collar bears the lettering BADC O., with the kanji for trillion set on his right shoulder and the word TRILLION running down his left arm. A pair of loose belts sag over his wide-legged trousers.

Set beside his brother, Keicho is the calmer and more calculating of the two, a gap both siblings openly acknowledge. He is ruthless, going so far as to shoot Okuyasu while aiming at Josuke and then refusing any apology, pinning the mishap on his brother's incompetence. He holds a harsh, almost Social-Darwinist creed that those who fail to grow have no right to live, and he feels no guilt over the people he wounds with the Bow and Arrow or over consequences like the rise of Angelo. He is methodical to a fault, even reluctant to let anyone glimpse a dying Koichi lest it draw attention, and he bristled when Josuke killed some of his soldiers and broke their perfect order.

He tends to look down on Okuyasu for his slower thinking, yet in childhood he shielded his younger brother while holding their abusive father in contempt. His feeling for that father was tangled: a lingering, misguided love that made him want to end the man's grotesque existence out of mercy. For all his cruelty toward Okuyasu, he throws himself into Red Hot Chili Pepper's path to save him, an act both Okuyasu and Josuke read as proof that he cared all along.

Around 1987 the brothers' mother died, sinking their father into depression, and with Japan's economy struggling the family slid into poverty and the boys were beaten constantly. Two years on, their father started receiving letters stuffed with money and jewels. Keicho would eventually grasp that the man had handed his soul and heart to DIO, who was then combing the world for a Stand user able to reshape reality. Distrusting the father, DIO planted a seed of his undead flesh inside him, and when Jotaro brought DIO down, that seed burst and warped the father into a speechless, monstrous form that instantly heals any injury.

For years afterward Keicho hunted for anyone capable of killing his father. He came upon the Bow and Arrow and began shooting people across Morioh at random, among them Yukako Yamagishi, Anjuro Katagiri, Rohan Kishibe, Tamami Kobayashi, Toshikazu Hazamada, and Akira Otoishi. His Stand, Bad Company, takes the form of a tiny army complete with infantry and paratroopers, tanks firing explosive shells, and missile-armed helicopters.

Believing Koichi's Echoes might be the power he sought, Keicho shot him, which drew Josuke into a confrontation that left Keicho badly hurt and prompted him to lay out his family's tragedy. Josuke offered to restore the father in exchange for the Bow and Arrow, but Keicho refused; with Red Hot Chili Pepper closing on Okuyasu, he shoved his brother clear and was electrocuted in his place, after which the Stand made off with the weapon. Much later, during the final battle against Yoshikage Kira, he returns as a ghost before a near-dead Okuyasu and persuades him to keep living.
