Oingo

Oingo cuts a tall, brawny figure with a long face, thick lips, and dark hair. He dresses in a T-shirt printed with a stylized version of his own name, layered under a sleeveless jacket, with jeans and a cap whose visor juts well past his brow. In the anime, the shirt instead carries a rendering of the Khnum card.

Confidence comes easily to Oingo, propped up by his Stand's shapeshifting and by the future his brother's cards lay out, yet that very swagger is what dooms the prophecy he leans on. He dotes on the timid Boingo and tries to shield him from the world's cruelty, an odd instinct given that both of them break the law for a living.

A short fuse rounds him out, and he will lash out at strangers simply for rubbing him the wrong way. When Boingo finally vows to avenge him, Oingo swells with pride and even begins to tear up.

Khnum lets Oingo remodel his face, height, weight, voice, and even scent to mimic anyone, though in practice he only alters his looks while stalking his targets. His campaign against the crusaders begins after he and Boingo consult the Stand Tohth, which steers them toward poisoning the group's tea. Oingo ambushes a restaurant waiter and takes his place, but the scheme keeps unraveling: a wary Joseph orders a sealed soda instead, then Iggy's antics send the travelers rushing off before anyone drinks.

Following the next reading, Oingo rigs a bomb shaped like an orange for Jotaro to bite into. Cornered by Joseph and Polnareff, he must impersonate Jotaro himself, only to be hauled into the very car holding his trap. He fumbles through Polnareff's cigarette and orange challenges, growing frantic that the two are secretly testing him. Trying to slip behind some rocks to change form again, he winds up stepping on the disguised bomb after Polnareff tosses it out, and the blast splits his face open.

Boingo then resolves to finish the job alone, moving his brother to proud tears, but thugs the pair had wronged earlier beat them both and land them in the hospital. Hol Horse later notes that the orange bomb left Oingo laid up for roughly another month.
