Pesci

Short in stature but carrying some athletic bulk, Pesci draws immediate attention through an almost nonexistent chin, a quirk generally chalked up to a Klippel-Feil-type condition. Aside from a cluster of green strands left at his crown, his head is shaved close, and both ears show a cauliflower shape. His outfit centers on a dark hook-patterned jumpsuit worn with mismatched arm warmers and matching footwear, over which sits a fur-lined sleeveless coat. Bandages cover one hand where Mista's Sex Pistols wounded him.

Pesci starts out spineless and nervy, favoring empty threats over action and buckling the instant pressure mounts. When the ice protecting him from The Grateful Dead's aging shatters he loses his composure entirely, and the moment Mista corners him with a barrel inches from his face he collapses into begging for mercy. The anime plays up this timidity, letting him recoil at gruesome killings and even minor scares, and he quietly absorbs whatever abuse Prosciutto hands out, calling the older man big brother.

His transformation comes when Prosciutto, mangled beneath the train, refuses to let his Stand die. Stirred by that resolve, Pesci finds enough nerve and cruelty to bring Bruno Bucciarati to the brink of death, though Bucciarati remarks that the courage curdles into pure viciousness once Pesci menaces defenseless people inside Coco Jumbo.

Introduced as Prosciutto's keen yet wavering subordinate, Pesci commits to the plan to abduct the Boss's daughter. The two shadow Team Bucciarati from Naples station until the squad vanishes off the train. Casting Beach Boy, a rod-and-hook Stand whose line pierces flesh like water to strike organs, he senses a hidden life form and comes within a breath of exposing Coco Jumbo, only for Prosciutto's Grateful Dead to pull his focus away. Spooked, he baits the air-conditioning control and holes up in the bar car, using ice to fend off the aging effect.

Mista later triggers the cooling unit; Pesci nearly spears his heart, only for Sex Pistols to shatter the ice and leave him exposed, and just Prosciutto's intervention rescues him. Steered back toward Coco Jumbo, he is ambushed and booted through a window by Bucciarati. When both Bucciarati and Prosciutto plunge from the train, Pesci throws his line to save his partner and instead discovers him crushed in the wheels.

Nearly broken by despair, he realizes the aging still lingers, and Prosciutto's sheer will hardens him. He takes on Bucciarati and comes close to winning, wringing out an admission that he is deadlier in single combat than Prosciutto. His end arrives when he tries to butcher the group hiding in Coco Jumbo: Sticky Fingers carves him apart and dumps the pieces into a river.
