Rikiel

Rikiel is a young man of reasonable build with a long face and dark hair cut into a bob that disappears into a tall, cow-print collar. His outfit is a sleeveless hooded bodysuit styled after cowhide, left open across the chest, and he wears a set of arm warmers.

As one of DIO's children, the Star Birthmark sits on his left shoulder.

Rikiel starts out timid and miserable, worn down by a strange, unexplained condition that would seal his eyelids shut, choke his breathing, and throw him into panic. That anxiety leaves him crumbling the moment he first meets Pucci. Everything shifts once Pucci brings the Stand Sky High to life, and the frightened youth grows into a bold, principled combatant.

He comes to prize human advancement, holding up the Apollo 11 mission as a symbol of how far people can climb. A sense of honor guides him, and he fights largely to repay what he owes Pucci. When Jolyne finally beats him, he congratulates her outright and shares the secret that Pucci and Weather Report are brothers. In that readiness to salute a worthy foe, and in his sheer determination, he shows the blood of his father.

Born in 1988 to DIO and an unnamed woman, Rikiel spent his youth at the mercy of relentless panic attacks, his eyelids dropping and his knees buckling until he could no longer sit exams, attend school, or even drive, all of which hollowed out his confidence. In 2012 he was recuperating at an Orlando hospital following a motorcycle crash when he encountered his half-brothers and Enrico Pucci. A conversation with Pucci awakened his Stand and transformed him almost instantly, and he strode up to Jolyne's group certain he could crush them.

His Stand, Sky High, commands airborne creatures called flying rods that drain body heat and trigger localized sickness. Armed with a keen grasp of anatomy, Rikiel picks apart the bodies of Jolyne, Ermes, and Emporio, saddling each with different physical setbacks. His edge slips when Jolyne sets herself alight to defy his power, prompting him to burn himself as well in the hope that sharing her pain will reveal a weakness.

Jolyne prevails and lands a crushing blow. Mortally hurt, Rikiel uses his own Stand to numb his pain and clings to her, forcing one final effort to kill; she permits it, and his own hand ends up blocking his heat-stealing power. Beaten, he reflects on the coincidences behind his loss and discloses that Weather Report and Pucci are secretly twin brothers, only for Ermes to strike his head and put him down for good.
