Shizuka Joestar

Shizuka is an infant girl whose features can only be seen once makeup is applied, at which point Joseph and Josuke both find her adorable. She is bundled in soft, pale baby clothes, topped with a little bobbled knit cap, and fitted with oversized dark glasses meant to conceal her unseen eyes.

As babies go, Shizuka is even-tempered. Her Stand, Achtung Baby, kicks in whenever she is startled, frightened, or upset, wrapping her and everything within a surrounding bubble in invisibility, the reach growing along with her distress. She settles most easily in the company of Joseph Joestar.

Shizuka turns up abandoned on a Morioh roadside, her invisibility the likely reason no one had spotted the lost infant. Joseph Joestar and Josuke Higashikata stumble onto her and end up in a frantic search to pin her down, during which Joseph slashes his own wrist so his blood can trace her position. The act convinces Josuke that his father is genuinely willing to risk himself for a helpless stranger, reshaping how he sees the old man. Joseph takes the baby in, naming her a Joestar even though it means courting the suspicion of his wife Suzi Q, who assumes she is yet another of his illegitimate children.

She drifts through several later episodes, often cradled in Joseph's arms, and her power causes a scene at the Kameyu department store when Rohan Kishibe's camera flash frightens her into blanking out herself and her surroundings. Her most active moment comes during Rohan's duel with Ken Oyanagi, a contest of rock-paper-scissors: Rohan turns his Heaven's Door against the infant and uses her own Stand to force Ken into throwing rock, clinching the game even after Ken briefly holds her hostage. She vanishes for a time following that fight before being recovered. Her true parents are never located, and she stays with the Joestars through the rest of the story.
