During Battle Tendency she is a young woman of middling height and build, her blonde hair swept into a chignon with a few strands standing upright near one side of her head.

By the time of Stardust Crusaders age has caught up with her. Her hair has turned white, and a pair of glasses now rests on her face.

Suzi is a little scatterbrained and quick to fret over the people she loves, a lightheartedness that never fades with the years. Even after the ordeals of Stardust Crusaders she films her travels through Japan on a camcorder while visiting her daughter, and she trusts completely in Joseph's knack for surviving the worst.

Her later years reveal sharper instincts than she lets on. She works out that Holy has fallen ill and that Joseph has slipped away to help, all while playing the innocent to keep everyone hopeful. She is not without a temper, flying into fury when she learns Joseph fathered Josuke behind her back, yet she forgives him and the marriage holds. Like her husband, she enjoys a good prank and a bit of gentle teasing.

She enters the story as Lisa Lisa's flirtatious helper, only to be hijacked by the lingering remains of Esidisi and turned against her friends. A joint effort from Caesar and Joseph frees her with little more than a scratch, and by the close of Battle Tendency she has wed Joseph, marrying him in 1939 as he recovers.

Suzi returns in Stardust Crusaders, where the anime first shows her phoning the submarine ahead of the clash with Midler's High Priestess, though Jotaro takes the call. When Holy collapses from her Stand sickness, Suzi hurries to her side, and she is left in the care of Roses while Joseph departs to face DIO. Choosing to visit her daughter, she gently stops Roses from breaking the bad news, revealing that she already understands and firmly believes Joseph and Jotaro will pull Holy through. In Diamond is Unbreakable she is remembered for her outrage over Josuke and for a second eruption when Joseph presents Shizuka, though she warms quickly once she hears the girl is being adopted.
