Team Bucciarati

The group is a six-man unit of gangsters within the Passione organization, every member a Stand user, in keeping with the all-male makeup of the wider gang. What sets them apart is how they came together: Bucciarati gathered them one by one from society's castoffs, meeting each at the lowest ebb of his life and lifting him back up. That shared debt binds them into a close, fiercely loyal circle, with only Giorno Giovanna joining by talking his own way in rather than being rescued.

More than a work crew, the team runs on genuine camaraderie layered over deep respect for Bucciarati's leadership. Their day-to-day duty is holding their assigned turf and collecting protection money from the local restaurants and docks, a task made easy by their leader's popularity, since townspeople greet him warmly and bring him their troubles. Bucciarati even fields requests for help beyond gang business, such as looking into a grieving father's daughter, and the crew handles ordinary underworld labor besides. When the Boss orders Trish's death, that loyalty is tested to its limit, and all but Fugo choose to follow Bucciarati into open revolt.

Bucciarati joined Passione in 1992 and built his team across the following years. He first recruited Leone Abbacchio, a ruined former policeman, and Pannacotta Fugo, who had been expelled from university and cast out by his parents. Fugo in turn brought in the destitute Narancia Ghirga, whom Bucciarati took in and had cured of an eye disease, and in 2000 Bucciarati pulled strings to bail a promising young Guido Mista out of jail. The final piece falls into place when Giorno Giovanna, responsible for the death of Leaky-eye Luca, strikes a deal to slip into the gang and is admitted after killing Bucciarati's superior Polpo.

Newly promoted, Bucciarati is handed the job of escorting Trish Una, the Boss's daughter, while the assassins of Squadra Esecuzioni hunt the crew across Italy. One by one the team cuts down enemies like Formaggio, Illuso, Prosciutto, Pesci, Melone, and Ghiaccio on the way to delivering Trish, only to discover at San Giorgio Maggiore that the Boss means to murder his own child. Bucciarati rebels, dies, and is revived by Giorno, and the others rally to him save Fugo, who walks away expecting disaster.

The rebellion presses on through fights against Squalo, Tiziano, and Carne's unstoppable Notorious B.I.G., which Trish helps repel by awakening Spice Girl. Abbacchio is killed by the Boss while uncovering his face, and the trail leads to the man's name, Diavolo, and a promised Arrow in Rome. There Cioccolata and Secco nearly break the group, Narancia falls, and a chaos of swapped souls unfolds around Chariot Requiem. In the end Bucciarati gives his life to keep the Arrow from reaching Diavolo, letting Giorno seize it and evolve his Stand into Gold Experience Requiem to finish the Boss. Only Giorno and Mista survive to rise as Passione's new leaders.
