Trish Una

A slender girl of fifteen and ordinary stature, Trish keeps her pale, frequently pink hair gathered into a loose swirl on the crown of her head. Her earliest manga design paired a t-shirt with a dark waist-cinching corset that bared her midriff, a short skirt scattered with sunflower motifs, and no footwear, with two strands of hair spilling down either side rather than her later single twist. The anime dropped this look entirely.

The outfit most associated with her debuts partway through the story: a dark bra linked to a choker tiled in alternating mathematical symbols, a matching full-length skirt slit high on the left leg, and low-heeled boots reaching the knee. A cover illustration later dressed her instead in a white one-piece blouse bearing Spice Girl as its emblem.

She arrives as a pampered, self-centered teenager with expensive tastes, promptly demanding designer cosmetics and nothing but sparkling water even as danger closes in. That surface haughtiness masks real insecurity, which surfaces when she frets to Bucciarati over whether her father will accept her. As the days pass, a fiercely loyal and resolute nature emerges, and with Giorno's guidance she embraces her own power to shield herself and the men around her. Initially frosty toward her guards, she gradually joins their ranks as a comrade.

Her compassion shows when she spends the cooling effect meant for herself to slow the aging inflicted on Narancia, and she later confides in him her longing for Bucciarati's regard and her tangled feelings toward him. Once at ease, she trades playful jabs with Mista. Supplementary notes describe her as germ-averse, prone to shrieking at anything still warm from another person's touch, and repelled by ugliness, insects, and coarse men, traits she is said to have taken from her mother.

Trish grew up in modest circumstances beside her mother, Donatella Una, unaware that her father headed the crime syndicate Passione until Donatella's death exposed the truth. Her parentage instantly made her a prize sought by two camps, the boss's loyalists racing to secure her and the treacherous assassins of Squadra Esecuzioni aiming to seize her as leverage. Disguised at first as a janitor, she is handed to Bruno Bucciarati and his crew for safekeeping, and though she treats her protectors with disdain, the men who repeatedly risk their lives for her slowly earn her trust.

The escort turns harrowing when she is taken to meet her father, only for him to sever her hand and abduct her, intent on murdering his own child and burying every link to his past. Rescued through Giorno's intervention and reunited with her reattached hand, she joins the gang as they turn traitor to defend her. Cornered aboard a plane by the near-invincible Notorious B.I.G, Trish finally hears a voice claim her and manifests Spice Girl, a Stand that softens matter into indestructible cushioning. She uses it to wreck the aircraft's cabin and cast the enemy into the sea, bidding it farewell.

In Rome, sensing the presence of the man she now knows as Diavolo, she joins the fight for the Arrow. After a body swap engineered by Chariot Requiem, she feigns helplessness inside Mista's form, then unsoftens a volley of bullets to blast her father and knock the Arrow beyond his reach, declaring she will rise above the fate he handed her. Diavolo's retaliation is fatal, but Bucciarati's sacrifice returns her soul as Giorno awakens Gold Experience Requiem and ends the boss for good. Believing her mentor still alive, she sets off with Mista to find him. A later novel reveals she went on to a successful career as a pop star.
