Weather Report

Weather Report stands tall with an athletic frame and is typically seen in a dark bodysuit topped by a pale, flat-crowned buffalo hat, a fur cap sporting two short horns at the front. As a sixteen-year-old going by Wes Bluemarine he wore a comparable bodysuit cut off at the waist like a shirt and left his head bare, revealing hair shaped much like that horned hat but without the horns, with a few strands trailing past his neck. After Pucci merges with the Green Baby, a star-shaped birthmark surfaces on his shoulder, mirroring the identical mark on Pucci and hinting at their blood tie.

Stripped of his past, Weather comes across as calm and quirky, prone to standing mere inches from Jolyne's face just to make her notice him and to walking about on his toes. He is trustworthy and kind, throwing himself into rescuing others with no thought for his own safety, and he rarely loses his composure unless someone close to him is threatened. He carries a fierce sense of justice, naming the worst evil as the kind that does not recognize itself as evil.

When his memories flood back, a darker nature emerges. Still loyal to his friends, he now revels in his own power, grinning as he shocks bystanders and skipping through his deadly rainbows in a way that unsettles even Anasui, as grief over his lost past hardens into a single-minded drive to confront his twin brother.

He entered the world on June 5, 1972 under the name Domenico Pucci, the younger of the family's fraternal twins, and was taken from the hospital nursery by a grieving woman whose own newborn had just died and grew up as Wes Bluemarine. As a teenage juice courier he stopped a thief from grabbing Perla Pucci's bag, and the two soon began dating. Her brother Enrico, realizing Wes was his own twin, hired what he believed was a detective agency to end the relationship, but the outfit was secretly run by the Ku Klux Klan; upon learning that Wes's adoptive mother had married a Black man, the Klansmen lynched him, burned down his home with his mother inside, and left him hanging to die. Perla cut him loose and, thinking him dead, threw herself from a cliff.

Around the same moment Pucci was pierced by the Arrow, Wes awakened a Stand of his own, one that cruelly refused to let him end his life: winds carried him back from ledges, waves returned him to shore, and his gun jammed with water. On the fourth day snails rained from the sky, and Pucci appeared, revealed their kinship, and used Whitesnake to strip out his memory disc. Years later, going by Weather Report and serving a six-year sentence for attempted murder, he befriends Emporio Alnino and Narciso Anasui inside Green Dolphin Street Prison.

He allies with Jolyne Cujoh to smuggle Jotaro's Stand disc into the keeping of the Speedwagon Foundation, and in a sealed factory the two overcome Lang Rangler, whose Jumpin' Jack Flash strips away gravity and air. After a star birthmark like Pucci's surfaces on him, Weather joins Anasui in tracking Jolyne, weathering ambushes from enemy Stands along the way. The Stand Under World eventually returns his memory disc, and the recovered past twists him; an infestation of his snails begins swallowing Orlando through Heavy Weather.

He finally corners Pucci, losing both legs in the exchange yet freezing the priest's own blood into a lattice of spikes and coming within a single blow of killing him, until a crashing car separates the brothers and Pucci, aided by Fate, runs him through the chest. In his last moments Weather wrenches his Stand disc back from Pucci and leaves it for Jolyne, whose companion Emporio later uses that very Stand to destroy Pucci. In the reshaped world that follows, an alternate version of Weather appears as a roadside hitchhiker and falls in with the survivors.
