Wu Tomoki

Wu wears a peculiar flattop built from clusters of small pale spheres, with dark spiked bangs falling across the front and matching tufts tracing the crown of his head. His work uniform is a long, buttoned jacket marked with three "DoCToR" name tags, two across the front and one on the shoulder.

With patients Wu comes across as courteous and composed, though he readily pauses a conversation to indulge a bizarre appetite, gulping down large quantities of nori and silicon-laced water in quick bursts, and he typically asks permission before he snacks. He insists he has never once failed at anything, pointing to exams and even his driving test as evidence of his perfection, and claims never to have failed at love because he steers clear of any woman he senses might be flawed. Viewing himself as a righteous healer who will treat anyone, he frames the Locacaca as a public good and reasons that whatever he does in the name of healing, however cruel, must be forgiven. He is also intensely secretive about his ties to the Rock Humans running operations from the hospital, going to absurd lengths to conceal them, such as dismantling an entire wheelchair and slipping away to dodge Yasuho's questions.

Through his Stand Doctor Wu, he shatters his frame into stony shards and drives them into a victim; his Rock Human makeup triggers allergic reactions, and should the fragments bind with a person's skeleton, he can partly steer their body. A graduate of T.G. University's medical department who passed the national physician's exam, he is unmarried and carries no record of unpaid taxes.

In the Doctor Wu and Awaking 3 Leaves arc, he examines Mitsuba Higashikata's stone-like ear, pronounces her healthy, then quotes a one-time cure of two hundred million yen once she says money is no object, all while treating her with the Locacaca that has been turning her body to stone. Yasuho Hirose, digging through security footage with Paisley Park, suspects him of being one of the ambulance drivers linked to Poor Tom's death; his Stand knocks her out and puppets Mitsuba to drag her into his office. When Wu reforms and reveals his full ability, the two women flee, and his pursuit ranges across the hospital as he strikes at them and at bystanders. After Mitsuba discloses her pregnancy and the loss of her unborn child to the exchange, her own Stand, Awaking III Leaves, manifests and briefly pins Wu to the ceiling. In an elevator sent racing upward, Mitsuba tapes down his scattered body, wads his head into a ball of surgical tape, and hurls it out a window. He returns through the sprinkler system, hides among the Locacaca fruit, retakes control of Mitsuba when she eats one, and smashes vials of deadly disease to endanger Yasuho. Yasuho expels him with her arrows, and Josuke finishes him by sealing his fragments in bubbles laced with medicinal cement, in which the trapped Wu drowns and crumbles.
