Yotsuyu Yagiyama

Yotsuyu is a lean man of average to slightly above-average height who gives his age as twenty-eight. Straight black hair reaches his shoulders beneath short bangs, and his dark eyes carry small triangular glints. He crowns himself with a wreath of leaves and fastens a collar pinned with the letter H, while a spiked, leathery dark material sheathes his arms, midriff, and legs. Over it he sports a crop top and floral bloomers with a small pouch clipped to his belt. Like other Rock Humans, his corpse turns out to lack male genitalia.

Calculating and merciless, Yotsuyu prizes social standing over everything else. He is a skilled manipulator, preying on Tsurugi Higashikata's dread of his family's disease to bend the boy into a trap, and, as Josuke observes, he will harm bystanders just to prove his threats are real. He treats his revived enemy as a maddening nuisance, having supposedly killed that man once already. For all his cruelty, Aisho Dainenjiyama remembers him warmly as someone who once offered comfort after a betrayal. Like every Rock Human, he covets the Locacaca and is willing to erase anyone who threatens his designs on it.

Yotsuyu began life as a nameless Rock Human and clawed his way up by stealing the identity of the real Yotsuyu Yagiyama and working as an architect, designing the Higashikata mansion and renovating Morioh's stadium while secretly serving Tamaki Damo in the Locacaca Organization. His Stand, I Am a Rock, can bind a magnetic pull to one kind of object at a time, drawing it toward a target or toward himself, and his rock-based body needs neither sleep nor rest, blending seamlessly into real stone. That same physiology is his undoing: cut off from skin respiration, his form loses its structure and crumbles.

On the nineteenth of August 2011 he and Damo cornered Josefumi Kujo and Kira over a stolen Locacaca branch, and Yotsuyu later boasted of crushing Josefumi between two rocks, though in truth he only watched the pair fall. When their survival surfaced in the amnesiac Josuke, he set out to finish the job, coercing Tsurugi and waterboarding Yasuho Hirose with a strange film from his own body to bait out her Stand. He hurled flowerpots, chestnuts, and pesticide at Josuke and Norisuke and abducted Yasuho to a rocky shore for one last ambush. Josuke wrapped him in a soap bubble and dragged him beneath the waves in salvaged netting, and there, starved of the air his skin needed, Yotsuyu broke apart and died as the coveted fruit drifted off into the current.
