F.F. - The Witness

Out in the marshland, Jolyne Cujoh, Narciso Anasui, and Yo-Yo Ma seize a guard's boat to make their way toward the central prison building. A swarm of mosquitoes laced with Yo-Yo Ma's acidic spit eats away Jolyne's tongue, leaving her fighting to warn Anasui about the danger posed by the enemy Stand.

Anasui works out how the ability functions and turns Diver Down on Yo-Yo Ma, linking the man's brain to that of a frog and rendering the Stand harmless. Elsewhere, Foo Fighters closes in to finish off D an G, only to cross paths with Enrico Pucci and learn that he is the one directing Whitesnake.

The escapees take a boat across the wetlands, and Jolyne loses her tongue to Yo-Yo Ma's poison-carrying mosquitoes before Anasui grasps the threat.

Anasui neutralizes Yo-Yo Ma by using Diver Down to join his mind with a frog's.

F.F.'s pursuit of D an G leads to the pivotal reveal that Pucci controls Whitesnake.

The installment covers chapters 674 through 678 and first aired on September 1, 2022, serving as the twentieth Stone Ocean episode and the 172nd of the franchise. One adaptation change has Anasui aiming for a deeper kiss with Jolyne rather than a simple one, prompting her to answer with an uppercut instead of merely seizing his head. The opening theme is STONE OCEAN with Distant Dreamer as the ending.
