High Priestess, Part 2

Forced to abandon the sinking submarine, the Joestar group suits up in scuba gear, with Joseph coaching them to hug the sea floor on the way up. High Priestess has anticipated the move, disguising itself as Polnareff's regulator and entering his mouth before Joseph and Kakyoin drag it out with Hermit Purple and Hierophant Green. The Stand then shifts into a harpoon, yet the heroes manage to lock it back inside the submarine and begin their ascent.

Following the seabed, the group meets a huge rock face that turns out to be High Priestess, which swallows them whole. As its user Midler gloats from above, the trapped men try flattery, only to enrage her into crushing them between the Stand's teeth. Jotaro breaks the teeth with Star Platinum, and the crew bursts free to the surface, leaving Midler disfigured and beaten.

Arriving at last in Egypt, the group pauses to watch the sunrise and reflect on the battles and countries behind them before pressing on. Elsewhere, DIO gathers a fresh set of Stand users, and Jotaro and Joseph again assure Suzi Q of their safety. A Speedwagon Foundation helicopter is shown carrying an unusual passenger as the pursuit of DIO continues.

Jotaro defeats High Priestess and its user Midler by smashing the Stand's rock teeth, closing the submarine battle and the first stretch of the Stardust Crusaders anime. The finale introduces Midler in full, teases Iggy aboard the Speedwagon helicopter, and shows DIO assembling the Egypt Nine Glory Gods.

Covering Chapter 181 through the opening pages of Chapter 183, the episode aired September 13, 2014 to the opening STAND PROUD. Much of the closing material is original, including a Speedwagon agent spying on nine of DIO's assassins before Geb kills him, plus a review of past enemy Stands. The opening also foreshadows Iggy with a howl over the sixth shooting star.
