Q

Q was a short-lived faction of curse users determined to topple the existing order of sorcery. Named with the single letter Q, the group was active during or shortly before 2006.

Q disbanded after a failed attempt on the Star Plasma Vessel in 2006. Its members Kokun and Bayer were both swept aside with little effort by the special grade sorcerers Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo, and the defeat brought the organization to an end.

Q's strategy hinged on robbing Master Tengen of reason, believing that without the merger Tengen would degenerate into a threat to both humanity and the schools. To this end they targeted the Star Plasma Vessel for assassination to prevent Tengen from resetting their technique.

Q's notable members were Kokun, who hurled Riko Amanai from a window only for Geto to catch her, and Bayer, regarded as the group's strongest fighter, who chose to engage Gojo despite knowing his Limitless and Six Eyes.

When the vessel's whereabouts leaked, Q members reached the scene first and set off an explosion near the top of a high-rise. Kokun then hurled Riko Amanai from a window hoping the fall would kill her, but Suguru Geto caught her in time and the two came to blows.
