It falls under the Emitter classification and operates at long range, reaching targets well beyond arm's length.

Audiences meet the power on screen in My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising, where Nine treats it as one option among his stolen arsenal rather than a signature technique.

Light gathers at the fingertips and leaves them as violet beams. Two firing modes exist. The simplest is a straight blast aimed directly at a target. The more dangerous option lets the wielder bend the beams as they leave the hand, so the light arcs toward a mark that thought it had cover.

Raw output is severe. The beams punch through flesh without difficulty, and they carry enough force to level a house or shatter sizable boulders. On impact they can also detonate, adding a blast radius to what would otherwise be a clean puncture.
