Helical Scythe belongs to Leviathan, a villain original to the World Heroes' Mission film. Red tendrils sprout from his fingers and head, long enough to strike from a distance, strong enough to punch through solid ice, and capable of stirring water and fire when he sets them spinning.
Helical Scythe, written in Japanese as Herikarusaizu, is a long-range Mutant Quirk carried by Leviathan. It appears only in the film My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission, making it one of the powers created specifically for a movie rather than the manga.
The Quirk grows large red appendages from the user's fingers and head. These can be lengthened and directed like tendrils, and they carry enough force to drive through solid ice. Each one operates independently, so Leviathan can wrap up an opponent with some while striking at others from well outside arm's reach.
Setting the tendrils spinning unlocks a second application: elemental manipulation. Leviathan can redirect the flow of water into a towering typhoon-like plume that he moves through at will, and the same rotation exerts influence over fire. He can also raise a large construct in his own likeness.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Leviathan's quirk is Helical Scythe, a long-range Mutant Quirk that grows large red tendril-like appendages from his fingers and head.
Helical Scythe lets Leviathan lengthen and direct tendrils grown from his fingers and head, each operating independently with enough force to punch through solid ice.
Spinning the tendrils unlocks elemental manipulation for Leviathan, letting him redirect water into a towering typhoon-like plume and exert influence over fire, as well as raise a large construct in his own likeness.
Helical Scythe appears only in the film My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission, making it a movie-original quirk rather than one from the manga.
Every recorded appearance of Leviathan's Helical Scythe has come while he was under the influence of Trigger, so how the quirk performs without the drug remains unestablished.
